YOUTH IN OUR PROGRAM

Plumfield Academy accepts boys between the ages of 6 and 14 at the time of enrollment who may struggle with:

  • Attachment issues
  • Impulsivity
  • Anxiety
  • Emotional Volatility
  • ADHD/ADD
  • Depression
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Oppositional behaviors

Our program has been successful in working with the unique concerns of adoptive parents and their children.

CLINICAL SERVICES

With certified training in Adoption Competency, Plumfield’s Licensed Therapist integrates proven modalities in adoption and permanency.

  • Adoption Competent therapy (TAC and ACT certified)
  • Therapy providing Individual, Group and Family work
  • Psychiatric Services
  • Social Workers providing case management services
 

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Plumfield Academy’s Non-Public School is certified by the California Department of Education and includes:

  • Curriculum based on California Common Core Standards
  • Enriched, structured classes of 4-6 students
  • Credentialed team of experienced teachers
  • Speech and Language Services
 

RESIDENCES

Plumfield Academy has three homes located in the Sebastopol countryside. Each home accommodates six boys, who are cared for and supervised by a four-member counseling team, with a one to three ratio of staff to residents.
